Shadow Dungeon

Store nouns vs YouTube labels

Shadow Dungeon classes

Shadow Dungeon ships four unique classes. Steam store nouns are sorcerer, holy warrior, archer, and necromancer. Official YouTube showcases label the same four Mage, Paladin, Ranger, and Necromancer. Only necromancer matches both lists. Each class is grouped with three talent trees on official Steam screenshots; that grouping is screenshot-backed, not printed as a table in store prose. Planned future classes Assassin, Engineer, Barbarian, and Warlock are labeled unshipped. zh-Hans store names are 法师, 圣骑士, 弓箭手, 死灵法师. ja store names are 魔術師, 聖騎士, 弓使い, ネクロマンサー.

Store nouns, YouTube titles, and grouped trees

The compare table below uses only shared fields from the sealed class records: storeName, youtubeName, officialBlurb, zhHansStoreName, jaStoreName, screenshotGroupedTrees, and youtubeId. Sorcerer / Mage groups Hell Messenger, Storm Lord, Arcanist on screenshot 15, captioned 1000+ Build Variations. Holy warrior / Paladin groups Blade Master, Holy Light, Apocalypse on screenshot 17 with the same caption. Archer / Ranger groups Windwalker, Doomsday Disciple, High Elf on screenshot 19, captioned Weapon-Skill Synergy. Necromancer groups Undead Emissary, Void Sorcerer, Corrupt Priest on screenshot 21 with that same synergy caption. Talent tree count is three per class on those panels, matching the store claim of 12 distinct talent trees and more than 370 skills.

Official blurbs stay one sentence: master elemental magic as a sorcerer; wield dual blades as a holy warrior; strike with deadly precision as an archer; summon demons and skeletons as a necromancer. They are store marketing lines, not stat blocks. Damage formulas, skill coefficients, and node costs are unpublished. Unlimited skill points are in the complete content list, so a class pick is about the three-tree panel you want to live on, not about a locked respec token. Screenshot 4 is exclusive to this route: a stone temple hall where a caster in purple mist fights skeletons while a blue-armored archer stands on a grate.

Four official class videos

OO Cat’s channel hosts one showcase per class. Mage is aNcx3l10a6Y. Paladin is 1Ans-_e8ixM. Ranger is GWNSgnBN1Ro. Necromancer is yOvatCH3LOY. Facades below stamp store noun versus YouTube title and use combat stills authorized for this route. They load youtube-nocookie iframes only after a click. Thumbnail art for aNcx3l10a6Y reuses four-class key art captioned Coming soon in May 2026; treat that as a historical banner on the video, not as a current release date. Full release is 26 August 2026.

Combat stills on this page: screenshot 16 is a temple fight against a multi-armed red giant; screenshot 12 is a lava hellscape with a paladin beside orbiting swords; screenshot 3 is sandy ruins where an archer fires green projectiles around a palm and an inscribed obelisk; screenshot 4 is the stone hall exclusive. Steam header art shows four class portraits under the carved title. None of these stills is a ranking. There is no official best-class list and no measured community tier at capture. Screenshot 1 is desert combat with an archer among cacti. Screenshot 6 is the Mage Items split that names Realm Ender. Screenshot 11 is a jungle ruin with an archer amid fire trails. Use Talent Trees when you want the four official panels as the data surface rather than these combat stills. YouTube thumbs on this route include the 24-languages key art, the 30 New Levels / 10 New Boss lightning caster, and the Mage showcase Coming soon in May 2026 banner. Those dates are historical video chrome. Shipped classes remain four. Unshipped remain Assassin, Engineer, Barbarian, and Warlock.

Compare columns are Store name, YouTube label, Official blurb, zh / ja, Grouped trees, and Video. On 390px the table stacks each class as a field list with data-label. Four facades sit below, one per class, with combat stills ss-16, ss-12, ss-03, and exclusive ss-04. Video ids stay aNcx3l10a6Y, 1Ans-_e8ixM, GWNSgnBN1Ro, and yOvatCH3LOY. Store nouns stay lowercase sorcerer, holy warrior, archer, necromancer. YouTube labels stay Mage, Paladin, Ranger, Necromancer.
